Sunday, July 25, DownRiver Church is celebrating Christmas in July with worship and a celebration. Worship will include all parts of Christmas; carols, message, and decoration.

Be sure to wear your most vibrant summer flare: Hawaiian shirts encouraged, the uglier the better!

The after worship celebration will include an outdoor picnic (prayers for good weather appreciated), a bounce house and a “Dunk Pastor Bob” tank. The best part will be the live-roaming nativity characters played by our Impact Kids (we don’t have a donkey but we do have a tiny dog named Moo-moo that attends worship every Sunday). And for dessert the Kona Ice Truck will provide snow cones for all, because it’s not Christmas without snow!

Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and you’re invited!

DownRiver Church was a guest on NPR’s Morning Edition on July 19 to discuss our Christmas in July “do-over”. Our member Virginia Schiebel spoke with NPR’s Deena Prichep. Take a listen by clicking the link below.
